Liverpool have officially completed the acquisition of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain on a long-term contract. The 23-year-old forward, who has been assigned the No.29 shirt, joins Andoni Iraola’s squad following a successful medical examination at Anfield.
Barcola arrives on Merseyside after three highly productive seasons at the Parc des Princes, where he solidified his reputation as a premier attacking talent. During his tenure with the French champions, he recorded 39 goals and 35 assists across 152 appearances. His time in Paris was marked by significant silverware, including three consecutive Ligue 1 titles and back-to-back Champions League trophies.
The versatile attacker, who is capable of playing across the front line, began his professional journey at Lyon. He made his senior debut in November 2021, eventually tallying seven goals and 11 assists in 47 matches before his high-profile transfer to PSG in August 2023. On the international stage, Barcola has become a consistent presence for France since his debut in June 2024, netting six goals in 28 appearances.
Reflecting on his move to the Premier League, Barcola expressed his enthusiasm for the challenge ahead. “It’s a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I’m very happy,” he stated. “It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.”
Looking toward his future with the club, the forward emphasized his desire to secure major honors. “I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life,” Barcola added. He noted that his commitment to the club is long-term, explaining, “It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.” The report also notes that barcola, who will wear the No.29 shirt, arrives on Merseyside following three trophy-laden seasons with PSG, where he established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents.
