Sources confirmed to Sport that the club intends to appeal the panel’s findings.
The Premier League has officially declined to comment on the matter. Meanwhile, it is understood that other clubs within the league have been briefed on the panel’s decision and are currently seeking legal counsel regarding the potential for filing compensation claims. Asked if the report was correct, City did not comment either way.
