Currently, the Kansas City Chiefs and tight end Travis Kelce are navigating their Week 5 bye, which spans from October 5 to October 12. The team recently concluded a Week 4 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Most recently, Swift and Kelce were spotted together in New York City on October 5 to commemorate Kelce’s 37th birthday. The couple was photographed holding hands while leaving the SoHo-based Italian restaurant, Torrisi. During the outing, Swift was dressed in a black lace-trimmed midi dress paired with a leather jacket, while Kelce wore a matching black cardigan and wide-leg trousers.
Swift’s upcoming gala appearance follows her successful night at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on September 27. During the ceremony, she secured three awards, including Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia” and Best Direction for “Opalite.”
These victories brought her total count to 33 Moon Persons, officially making her the most-awarded artist in the history of the MTV VMAs, surpassing Beyoncé. Additionally, she received the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honor in recognition of her work directing her own music videos.
During the VMA telecast, Swift premiered her self-directed music video for the track “Patient Zero.” For the event, she appeared in a Tamara Ralph design featuring a black velvet bodice and a metallic silver skirt.
Travis Kelce did not attend the VMA ceremony, as he was in Miami preparing for the Chiefs’ Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins. The team’s schedule and depth chart for the 2024-25 NFL season remain active points of interest for fans tracking the Chiefs’ progress through their current campaign.
