Yash Advises Against Children Watching His Upcoming Film Toxic

Update: 19 August 2026, 1:48:14 PM

The highly anticipated film ‘Toxic,’ featuring actor Yash, has already sparked discussions due to the glimpses of intense action, violence, and intimate scenes revealed in its trailer. Addressing these concerns, Yash has explicitly stated that the movie is not suitable for children. During an appearance on Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat,’ the actor emphasized that the film is strictly for an adult audience, advising that children should remain at home rather than viewing it.

Yash defended the film’s mature tone, arguing that the story is deeply realistic and profound. While some of the more intense sequences have drawn negative reactions, the actor maintained that the narrative requires such layers to ensure every aspect of his character remains significant and authentic. He believes that storytelling must be presented with honesty and naturalism, even when dealing with complex or difficult themes.

The actor further noted that the trailer does not reveal the entire scope of the film. He believes that adult viewers possess the maturity to discern the content, decide what they wish to learn from the story, and determine how it applies to their own lives. The film’s marketing has consistently used a tagline that underscores its mature nature, making it clear from the outset that it was never intended for a younger demographic.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ features Yash in a dual role. The star-studded cast also includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. The production is currently scheduled to hit theaters on August 26, bringing its gritty and layered narrative to the big screen.
