Content creator Gav Murphy has revealed that his girlfriend, Honey Ross—daughter of broadcaster Jonathan Ross—is currently learning Welsh. The 41-year-old YouTuber, originally from Caerphilly, shared on Radio Cymru’s ‘Beti a’i Phobol’ that 28-year-old Ross has been utilizing the Duolingo app to pick up the language. To overcome a lack of confidence in speaking Welsh, Murphy encourages her to practice with their dog, Coco. “Because I speak Welsh with Coco, I try to get her to speak Welsh with Coco too,” Murphy explained, noting that the dog is an ideal listener because she “is not going to tell you if you’re wrong.”
