Manchester City officially secured the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea on Tuesday, finalizing a deal worth £125 million ($167 million). The transfer fee matches the British record previously set when Liverpool acquired Swedish striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United last year.
The 25-year-old midfielder is set to anchor a revamped City engine room alongside England international Elliot Anderson and Morocco’s Ayyoub Bouaddi.
