The Duchess of Sussex has been named as a co-host for the upcoming season of Junior MasterChef Australia. According to Channel 10, Meghan will feature in the 2027 series as a special guest, working alongside presenter Poh Ling Yeow.
This role follows her appearance as a guest judge on the standard version of the show last year, which Paramount ANZ noted drew the largest Sunday audience for the programme since 2023. Expressing her enthusiasm for the project, the duchess stated that she cannot wait to participate in the upcoming series.
The announcement coincides with ongoing public scrutiny surrounding allegations of child sexual abuse made against Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle. While the duchess reportedly cut contact with him last year after informing him that she and authorities were aware of the accusations, Thomas Markle has vehemently denied the claims, describing them as lies intended to damage his reputation.
