Pitso Mosimane is set to succeed Belgian coach Hugo Broos at the helm of the South African national football team, the national association announced on Saturday. While the national executive committee has officially approved Mosimane for the position, the organization noted that final salary negotiations remain ongoing.
Association president Danny Jordaan confirmed the progress, stating, “The executive has approved the appointment of coach Pitso, but we need to tie up some loose ends. We will make a formal announcement next week.”
