Recent investigations into the shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff have uncovered a chilling shift in tactics by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Mumbai police sources confirmed that the group originally intended to target superstar Salman Khan. However, after monitoring the security arrangements at Khan’s Galaxy Apartments, the shooters aborted the initial mission, citing the actor’s extensive Y-Plus protection and the constant presence of heavy police security that sanitizes his regular travel routes.

Denied direct access to Khan, the gang redirected their efforts toward Tiger Shroff. Monitoring his activity through social media and fan pages, the group discovered that the actor frequently visited a football field in Juhu every Sunday. They perceived this as a soft target due to the significantly lower security presence compared to Khan, assuming they could easily strike amidst the public crowd.

Following the incident, individuals identifying as Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu claimed responsibility for the attack via social media. The group issued a warning to the Hindi film industry, threatening that anyone who collaborates with Salman Khan or ignores their demands would face similar consequences. They claimed the act against Shroff was a deliberate warning for failing to heed their prior telephone threats.

Law enforcement agencies have made significant progress in dismantling the network involved in the conspiracy. Rajasthan’s Kota police apprehended three primary shooters—two from Haryana and one from Bihar—and handed them over to Mumbai authorities. Furthermore, investigators tracked down four additional individuals in Haryana’s Sonipat district, including two women identified as Radha and Babita, who allegedly served as couriers for the gang. Evidence suggests they transported weapons from Haryana to Mumbai via train, handing them off to a handler before being caught on their return trip.

Interrogations of the female suspects led police to the arrests of two other key associates, Kunal and Sumit. Authorities are currently conducting an extensive investigation into the gang’s operational network and connections to identify any further links related to this coordinated attempt to intimidate the entertainment industry.
