UAE Teams Dominate Seashore Phoenix Games in Qatar

The sixth edition of the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026, held in Qatar, concluded with a powerful display of athletic excellence from the United Arab Emirates. UAE teams secured the top three spots in the prestigious fitness competition, highlighting the country’s rising prominence in the regional sports scene.

CrossFit Al Ain led the charge, claiming first place overall. They were joined on the podium by RIG UAE in second and QHP Coal UAE in third. The success continued in the National Teams category, where UAE participants swept the top three positions: Irada – Al Hashimi took the gold, followed by Irada – Legacy and Irada Al Khor – No Fear.

Individual performances were equally strong for UAE representatives. In the men’s RX category, Ridwan Al Ghadwani earned first place, with Mustafa Al Salhi and Hamza Maher taking second and third, respectively. The Masters category also saw a complete sweep, as Dennis Katana finished first, Khalifa Al Sabri second, and Ragheed Al Ghazi third.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, attended the event to support the athletes. Praising their dedication, he emphasized that his presence underscored the federation’s commitment to regional fitness collaboration and the exchange of athletic expertise.

During his visit, the Chairman met with key officials, including Khalid Abdulaziz Nabina, Chairman of the Games’ Organizing Committee; Khalid Abdullah Al Hammadi, General Manager of Irada Fitness; and Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri, Acting General Manager of Aspire Logistics. He was briefed on the logistical and technical framework that supported the games.

As part of the closing ceremonies, Sheikh Abdullah presented commemorative shields to the organizers, Irada Fitness, and the hosts, the Aspire Zone Foundation. He also recognized Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Visit Qatar, for his support in ensuring the competition’s success.

The event brought together more than 400 athletes representing over 40 countries, turning the venue into a hub of international fitness competition. The schedule for the games ran from September 10 to 12 for men’s categories, while the women’s competitions were held from September 13 to 14.

Looking toward the future, the federation believes that fostering these regional partnerships will provide UAE athletes with increased opportunities to excel on a larger global stage, further developing the fitness sector across the Gulf region.
