Salman Shah’s Former Wife Samira Addresses Viral Photos Involving Actor Don

Salman Shah, a legendary figure in 1990s Bangladeshi cinema, achieved immense popularity within a brief career that spanned 27 films. His sudden death on September 6, 1996, remains a subject of intense public debate and speculation, with his family having previously alleged foul play. Amidst this enduring scrutiny, his former wife, Samira, has frequently found herself at the center of various rumors and controversies.

On August 12, 1992, Salman Shah and Samira were married after a period of courtship. Following his untimely passing, their relationship continued to be a focal point for public interest. Years later, social media platforms circulated an intimate photograph purportedly showing Samira with the villain actor Don. However, this claim was later challenged by those close to the situation, including Salman Shah’s friend, Mostak Waiz.

Mostak Waiz, who later married and subsequently divorced Samira, clarified that the woman in the viral photo was not Samira but actress Sabrina. He explained that the image was captured during the production of the film ‘Asha Bhalobasha,’ which starred Salman Shah and Shabnaz, with Sabrina appearing as a supporting actress. According to Waiz, Salman Shah had playfully taken the photo through a ventilator gap on the set, and the actor would often use it to tease Don.

Addressing other images circulating online, Waiz asserted that many were digitally manipulated using Photoshop. He did acknowledge one genuine photo of Samira and Don, explaining that it was taken while Samira was reading a magazine and Don reached out, prompting Salman Shah to capture the moment. Waiz emphasized that these instances were misconstrued by the public.

Samira herself has vehemently denied the allegations, stating that the viral images are being used to spread falsehoods. She expressed frustration that fans, acting without full knowledge, have insulted her and, by extension, disrespected the person Salman Shah loved. She maintained that Don was like a younger brother to her, noting that he would traditionally touch her feet as a sign of respect during every Eid celebration.
