Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra recently appeared on the reality show “Bigg Boss 20” to promote their forthcoming mytho-fantasy-thriller, “The Vvaan: Force Of The Forrest.” During the appearance, host Salman Khan took a moment to commend Tamannaah for her vocal quality. As she spoke, Khan turned to Sidharth and remarked on the “superb voice” she possesses, prompting the actress to thank him for the compliment, while Sidharth added that her voice carried a distinct charm, or “adaah.” Host Salman was seen praising Tamannaah for her incredible voice, in an adorable moment that has been doing the rounds on social media. The film, directed by Deepak Mishra with a script by Arunabh Kumar, is rooted in folklore and explores the secrets of a forbidden forest. Alongside leads Tamannaah and Sidharth, the cast features Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Anup Soni, and Maniesh Paul. Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari, the production is scheduled for theatrical release on September 25.
A notable aspect of the film is its inclusion of the song “Chhathi Maiya.” Tamannaah shared that she conducted extensive research into the significance of the Chhath Puja rituals performed in regions like Bihar and Patna to perform the track authentically. She expressed a deep, personal connection to the festival, stating, “I have always held a deep reverence for Chhath Puja. I was stunned to learn the power it holds, and the connection I felt with Chhathi Maiyya is something I cannot put in words.”
During the film’s trailer launch in Delhi, the actress emphasized that this project marks a historic moment for Hindi cinema. She noted that it is the first time the festival has been portrayed with such intense focus on detail, authenticity, and respect. She praised the filmmakers for their sensitivity, adding, “Deepak and Arunabh sir understand this so well, and they have so much respect, and they so strongly feel about it that while we were shooting, they made sure that everything was taken care of and it was shot beautifully.”
