Actress Tania Bristy has returned to her familiar rhythm after a nine-month break from acting caused by a prolonged battle with a brain tumor. She stepped back in front of the camera for a new drama titled ‘Ongshidar’, which has already finished filming. The production, presented by ‘Happy Cow’, was written, scripted, and directed by Iksan Rony, whose Facebook timeline featured behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot alongside a welcoming note saying, ‘Welcome back Tania Bristy’.
Alongside Bristy, the drama features a diverse cast including Fazlur Rahman Babu, Dolly Zahur, Nandi Jewel, R.C. Aronya, Ashraful Ashish, and Pankaj Majumdar. According to the production team, the project is scheduled for release soon on the KSI Entertainment YouTube channel.
Bristy’s unexpected health crisis began in February of this year when she suddenly fell ill, and medical tests revealed a brain tumor. Following an initial tumor removal surgery in Dhaka, she traveled to Chennai, India, for advanced medical treatment, where she underwent a second surgical procedure.
