Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is reportedly attracting interest from Serie A giants Napoli and AS Roma this summer. This development follows the Brazilian’s decision to reject a €45 million transfer bid from Galatasaray, as he is currently uninterested in moving to the Turkish league. Despite this refusal, speculation persists regarding his potential departure from the Emirates Stadium.
Napoli, who finished second in Serie A last season—11 points behind champions Inter Milan—are monitoring the situation under new manager Massimiliano Allegri, who recently replaced Antonio Conte. Meanwhile, AS Roma, who secured a third-place finish just three points behind Napoli, are also looking to bolster their squad under head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Any potential deal for Martinelli remains contingent on Arsenal securing a suitable replacement, particularly after their pursuit of Vinicius Jr. ended when the forward signed a new contract at Real Madrid.
Since joining Arsenal from Ituano in 2019, Martinelli has become a key figure, recording 62 goals and 36 assists across 278 senior appearances. While his current contract is set to expire next summer, the club holds an option to extend the deal by one additional year.
Arsenal has been linked with several wingers, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola. PSG has reportedly placed a valuation exceeding €150 million on the Frenchman, who joined the club from Olympique Lyon in 2023 and has contributed 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 matches. His current contract runs until 2028. However, former Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend has questioned the high price tag, suggesting on talkSPORT that Arsenal should prioritize retaining Martinelli over pursuing the PSG star.
According to Caught Offside, Galatasaray put in a bid worth €45 million for Martinelli this summer.
He has made 278 senior appearances for them, scoring 62 goals and providing 36 assists.

However, he rejected it, as he doesn’t want to move to the Turkish league at this stage of his career.
He has scored 39 goals and provided 37 assists in 152 games for the Parisians.
