Art D’Égypte has officially unveiled plans for the sixth installment of its signature exhibition, Forever Is Now, scheduled to take place at the Pyramids of Giza from November 4 to 28. This year’s edition, dubbed “Forever is Nowember,” focuses on a curation led by female artists who are engaging in a creative dialogue with Egypt’s ancient heritage. As the largest contemporary art showcase of its kind at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the event continues its established mission of uniting prominent international artists to explore the intersection of modern practice and 4,500-year-old history.

The exhibition transforms the Giza plateau into a living cultural landscape, inviting participants to interpret the site through the lens of contemporary imagination. By utilizing modern materials and technologies alongside traditional craftsmanship, the works reflect on themes such as spatial order, cultural memory, and the geometric precision of the pyramids. The 2026 edition will feature diverse artistic practices from France, the United States, China, Britain, Jamaica, and Egypt, fostering a global exchange that highlights how historical knowledge systems remain relevant to contemporary thought.

Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, the French-Egyptian curator and cultural ambassador who founded Art D’Égypte in 2016, serves as the driving force behind the initiative. Her consultancy has become a regional leader with a dual mandate: elevating the international profile of Egyptian art while preserving the nation’s cultural legacy. Reflecting on her approach, Abdel Ghaffar noted, “Accessibility and democratisation of art have always been at the heart of my vision.” She emphasizes that by activating historic sites with interactive public exhibits, the organization aims to move art away from being an intimidating spectacle toward becoming an inclusive community experience.

The organization’s impact has been significant, earning UNESCO patronage in 2019 and leading to invitations for participation in major events like ArtGenève and Abu Dhabi Art. Abdel Ghaffar’s leadership has been widely recognized; she was named one of Egypt’s Top 50 Women and received the title of Chevalier de l’ordre des arts des lettres from the French government in 2021. Additionally, she was honored as the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2022 Egyptian Entrepreneurship Awards for her contributions to the broader Egyptian cultural scene. Her commitment extends to mentorship, with a core focus on supporting and exhibiting female artists in the region, a mission underscored by her invitation to speak at the Palais des Nations in Geneva regarding the influence of Egyptian women on society.

Since its inception, Art D’Égypte has curated exhibitions for over 60 artists at various heritage sites and expanded its reach through podcasts, lecture series, and community programs. The organization also functions as a multidisciplinary consultancy, providing curatorial services for private and institutional collectors while documenting the history of modern Egyptian artists. To further these goals, the firm recently launched a sister platform, CulturVator, which consolidates initiatives across film, design, music, and visual arts to foster deeper creative collaborations between public and private partners.

As the project celebrates the legacy of the pyramids, it continues to bridge the gap between Egypt’s past and the global contemporary art market. By supporting young and emerging artists, Art D’Égypte maintains its position as a central pillar in the Egyptian cultural calendar. Through its ongoing commitment to sustainability and cultural dialogue, the organization seeks to keep Egypt at the forefront of the international art scene, ensuring that the dialogue between ancient wonder and modern innovation remains a permanent fixture of its programming.
