A 15-member cultural delegation from Bangladesh was formally honored at a reception hosted at Pakistan House. The event, attended by senior officials from the Bangladesh Ministry of Cultural Affairs, served as a platform to celebrate the delegation’s efforts in showcasing the rich heritage and artistic traditions of their home country.
This visit took place between October 16 and 19, 2026, as part of a formal bilateral cultural exchange program. During their stay in Islamabad, the group presented a series of performances highlighting the diversity of Bangladeshi arts, music, and cultural practices, which received significant acclaim from the local audience.
The delegation featured a diverse group of talented individuals, including renowned painter and printmaker Md. Abdus Sattar. The musical segment featured performances by Pial Hasan, Isha Khan, Ethun Babu, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Nasser, and Naznin Chowdhury. The artistic representation was further enriched by dancers Farhana Chowdhury, Mehbuba Mahnur Chandni, Abdur Rashid Swapan, and Golam Mostafa.
By facilitating direct engagement between artists from both nations, the program provided a valuable opportunity for cultural diplomacy. The successful reception at Pakistan House and the warm reception of the performances in Islamabad underscore the significance of such exchanges in promoting international recognition of Bangladesh’s cultural identity. The active participation of senior ministry officials during the reception further highlighted the importance attached to this mission.
