As they performed, Ahn was struck by the man’s vocal quality. “When he sang the first line, I thought, ‘Whoa, this guy’s vocal timbre is insane. He sounds remarkably like Chris Martin.’ But did I think it was actually Chris Martin? Absolutely not,” the performer shared. The musician said the man appeared to be having a wonderful time, smiling brightly throughout the song before coolly walking away immediately after the final note.
The realization of who his singing partner was came only after the crowd rushed forward.
