Innings Progression And Middle Order Resistance

Namibia Chase And Collapse
The host nation’s reply began with a forty-eight-run partnership between Michael van Lingen and Louren Steenkamp. Van Lingen contributed twenty-three before edging to the wicketkeeper off Jai Moondra, and Steenkamp fell for twenty-six to Gavin Hoey immediately after.
Hoey soon collected his second dismissal by removing Jan Frylinck for nine, leaving the score at 68/3 in the thirteenth over. Zane Green was clean bowled by Curtis Campher, and Loftie-Eaton was run out for nine following a mid-pitch mix-up.
Late Fightback And Final Scores
Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus attempted a counter-attack, striking a maximum off Hoey before George Dockrell trapped him leg-before-wicket for twenty-two. Dockrell collected a second dismissal shortly after, leaving the batting side struggling at 110/7.
Ruben Trumpelmann produced a notable fifty from forty-two deliveries, launching several boundaries and sixes against the visiting attack. However, regular wickets at the other end depleted the lower order until Trumpelmann’s dismissal wrapped up the contest in the thirty-eighth over.
