Jack Lowden has described the recent speculation linking him to the role of James Bond as “flattering.” The 36-year-old actor, who grew up in Oxton in the Scottish Borders, is reportedly under consideration for the iconic part alongside fellow actors Callum Turner and Josh O’Connor.
The successful candidate will take over from Daniel Craig, who originated the role in the 2006 film Casino Royale and concluded his tenure following his fifth appearance in the 2021 release, No Time To Die.
Speaking with GQ Hype, Lowden addressed the ongoing rumors regarding his potential casting. He neither confirmed nor denied his involvement in the audition process for the legendary film series.
