Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, confirmed that preparations for the season finale are progressing according to plan. He reaffirmed the championship’s commitment to the scheduled calendar, noting that Abu Dhabi is preparing to host the event in an exceptional atmosphere, complemented by a comprehensive programme of entertainment and hospitality experiences.
Strategic Importance for Abu Dhabi
- Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, stated that hosting Formula 1 since 2009 reflects the emirate’s global standing and its proven capacity to attract major international sporting events.
- Al Hosani added that the Grand Prix significantly enhances Abu Dhabi’s appeal as a global destination, providing vital support to the local tourism, hospitality, and events sectors by attracting international visitors.
- Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, confirmed that race preparations are progressing well. He emphasized ongoing cooperation with Formula 1 and partners across the emirate to ensure an exceptional experience for fans, teams, and drivers.
