Following weeks of cryptic teasers, Oasis has officially confirmed the next phase of their reunion with a 38-date tour scheduled for summer 2027. This second wave of performances follows the band’s acclaimed 2025 live comeback, which generated an estimated £300 million in box office revenue.
The band, fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, will launch the new tour with five consecutive nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park in May. Following those shows, the group will hold an 11-night residency in June at the Etihad Stadium, the home ground of their beloved Manchester City. The tour will also include performances across Europe in July and a series of dates in the US throughout August.
In a nostalgic nod to their roots, the band is set to return to the site of their iconic 1996 performances at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire. They will play four nights at the 125,000-capacity venue in September 2027. Later that same month, the group will perform two dates at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland.
The official announcement, made on Monday, featured a new promotional trailer and a photograph of the Gallagher brothers. A message posted to the band’s social media accounts declared, “After a period of reflection, ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”
Liam Gallagher, 53, shared the news via his personal X account, describing the announcement as “Spiritual.” The reveal followed a series of promotional events, including a drone display over the Etihad Stadium, similar displays in Rome, and posters appearing in the Paris Metro.
To mitigate the technical issues and confusion experienced during the previous ticket rollout, the band has introduced a new registration process similar to that used for the Glastonbury Festival. Registration opened Monday and is scheduled to close at 16:00 BST on Thursday, 17 September. Tickets are set to go on sale across Friday, 25 September, Saturday, 26 September, and Sunday, 27 September.
Standard ticket prices for the upcoming dates will be fixed, ranging from £71.50 to £266.60. Richard Ashcroft has been confirmed as the supporting act for the entirety of the 2027 tour.
The upcoming shows arrive long after the band’s initial 1996 Knebworth concerts, which were attended by 250,000 people and remain widely considered the height of the Britpop era. Reflecting on those shows during a 2021 documentary premiere, Noel Gallagher admitted the band had “no fear” at the time, noting that he would likely be “petrified” to attempt such a feat today.
Oasis was originally discovered in Glasgow in 1993 by Creation Records executive Alan McGee. Before their massive Knebworth appearances, the band famously performed at Manchester City’s former home ground, Maine Road, as captured in their concert film, There and Then. The brothers continued this connection to their club by performing together at the Etihad Stadium in 2005.
