Kriti Sanon recently delighted fans by posting a surprise reunion with her Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan and the film’s director, Amar Kaushik. In a short clip shared on her Instagram Stories this Monday, the trio smiled at the camera and imitated a wolf howl—a distinct nod to their 2022 horror-comedy. The video included a teasing caption, “An unexpected reunion that will get you ‘Obsessed’! Stay Tuned,” prompting immediate speculation that the team may be preparing an official announcement for Bhediya 2. These three might be planning an announcement for “Bhediya 2, while it is not certain.
Varun Dhawan further amplified the buzz by resharing the post on his own social media profile.
Should a sequel move forward, it would mark the third time the two actors have shared the screen, having previously collaborated on the 2015 film Dilwale. The original Bhediya, which premiered in cinema halls in November 2022, featured Dhawan as Bhaskar, a road-construction contractor who begins turning into a werewolf after being bitten in the forests of Arunachal Pradesh. Sanon starred alongside him as Anika, a veterinarian harboring secret knowledge regarding the supernatural events. He soon begins experiencing a strange transformation into a werewolf, after the incident. A veterinarian who has more knowledge about the mysterious events than she initially lets on. “Bhediya” reached the cinema halls in November 2022, kriti is seen essaying the role of Anika.
This is not the first time the pair has been spotted together in a social setting. Back in May, they gathered with friends for an evening of music and celebration. That group included Kriti’s sister, Nupur Sanon, her husband, singer Stebin Ben, and actor Varun Sharma. The group was filmed dancing to the track Tera Ho Jaun, which Stebin Ben performed alongside Jonita Gandhi for the film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The romantic number has been crooned by Stebin, along with Jonita Gandhi, with lyrics penned by Vayu, for the unaware. The post was captioned, “Tera Ho Jaun…… with the madness…Don’t miss the end.”.
In other family-related news, Kriti and Nupur Sanon recently showcased their close sibling bond in a shared social media reel. The video featured the sisters lip-syncing to Main Heroine Hoon from the 2012 film Heroine and dancing to Sharara Sharara from the 2002 release Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. These lighthearted moments follow the wedding of Nupur and Stebin Ben, which took place in Udaipur in January 2026. Their multi-day celebration incorporated both Christian and Hindu wedding traditions, with Kriti remaining by her sister’s side throughout the festivities. The mood then shifts as Nupur joins and grooves to “Sharara Sharara” from the 2002 film “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai,” starring Uday Chopra, Tulip Joshi and Jimmy Sheirgill.
