Recounting her initial meeting with Shahid, Mira revealed that after talking for about two to three hours, the actor suddenly asked her to pull out her phone and take a picture of his shoes using the camera flash. Surprised by the strange request, she took the photo and asked what was so special about it. Shahid proudly explained that his shoes glowed in the dark, a mechanism he used to distract paparazzi camera flashes. Mira noted that since she was not from the film industry, she did not find the trick particularly impressive at the time.

After their marriage, Mira watched Udta Punjab alongside Shahid in an editing room. Shahid humorously recalled that Mira sat anxiously at the far end of the sofa, visibly uncomfortable and wondering who she had just married. Meanwhile, host Kapil Sharma poked fun at Shahid’s hit film Kabir Singh, prompting Shahid to reveal that it was actually Mira who convinced him to take on the role. Mira added that while she had not watched many of Shahid’s movies before marriage, Jab We Met was one of her personal favorites.
