Supermodel Cindy Crawford has shared her grief following the death of her 27-year-old son, Presley Gerber. Crawford wrote in the post on Sunday: “We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years.

In a poignant Instagram tribute posted this Sunday, Crawford stated she and her family are beyond heartbroken, describing her son as a sweet and beautiful soul who remains deeply loved.

She expressed gratitude for the 27 years they shared and for the support received from both friends and strangers alike.

The young model, who had pursued a career in the fashion industry alongside his mother and younger sister Kaia, made his catwalk debut at 16 for the Italian label Moschino. Over recent years, he had been candid about his personal struggles with substance abuse and mental health, often using his social media platforms to share videos for his Mental Health Mondays series.

Presley Gerber passed away on September 20 at a rehabilitation center located in California. Law enforcement officials from the Santa Monica Police Department confirmed that there are no signs of foul play. Currently, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has listed the cause of death as pending further investigation, though authorities are looking into the incident as a suspected overdose.

His sister, Kaia Gerber, also honored her late brother with an online tribute. Her post featured a collection of personal memories, including a video of the siblings dancing as children and a photograph taken near the ocean. She included a heartfelt four-page letter directed to him, detailing their close bond.

In her writing, Kaia reflected on a childhood memory of Presley piercing his ears first because she had been nervous, noting how painful it was to see his earring recovered after his passing. She shared the difficulty of navigating a world where she can no longer call him or reach out to him, expressing her struggle to learn how to love him from a distance. All I could think was: That belongs to you,” she wrote, but when I held the earring they took from your body.

The family’s statement concluded with a collective message of love from his mother, father Rande Gerber, and Kaia, accompanied by an angel wings emoji. Rande Gerber, a prominent businessman and co-founder of the Casamigos tequila brand, has also been mourning the loss.
