Bollywood actress and BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has issued a scathing response to yoga guru and businessman Baba Ramdev. The conflict follows Ramdev’s recent public criticism of the actress, which was sparked by her earlier description of the younger generation as a “gutter generation.”
Ramdev’s Critique
In a recent interview, Ramdev questioned the actress’s background, asking, “What was her childhood like, what was her youth like?” He further stated that labeling the nation’s youth as a “gutter” is a sign of a “distorted mindset” and suggested that her own party members should take note of such comments. When reminded that Ranaut is a practitioner of yoga and identifies as a Sanatani, Ramdev retorted, “Should I cover up someone’s sinful acts just because they praise my yoga?”
Kangana’s Rebuttal
On Wednesday, Ranaut took to Instagram to fire back at the yoga guru. Her statement included the following points
- She warned Ramdev not to “daydream” about her youth or her bedroom, dismissing his comments as based on rumors.
- She emphasized that, unlike him, she faces no allegations of selling fraudulent or fake medical products.
- She noted that she has not been reprimanded by the Supreme Court, asserting that these are documented facts rather than mere speculation.
- She concluded by stating that her character is superior to his and that no fraud charges have ever been leveled against her.
