Actress Shriya Saran has ignited speculation regarding her potential involvement in the highly anticipated action film “Dharman” after sharing an endearing selfie with Superstar Rajinikanth on her Instagram stories. The image, which she simply captioned “Happy Day,” has led many to wonder if the actress will reunite on screen with the legendary star. The pair previously worked together in director Shankar’s blockbuster hit, “Sivaji.”
Industry reports indicate that production for “Dharman” is currently moving forward, with the third schedule of filming having commenced in Hyderabad this past Monday. The project has maintained a steady pace, as the second schedule only began on August 13 of this year. Raaj Kamal Films International, the production house led by actor and parliamentarian Kamal Haasan, previously marked the start of that second phase with a social media update featuring a video clip of Rajinikanth on set, accompanied by director Ashwath Marimuthu. Excitement surrounding the film has been building since its initial announcement. In June, the production team released a behind-the-scenes video detailing the process of crafting Rajinikanth’s look for the character. Director Ashwath Marimuthu later shared a promotional poster on his X timeline, highlighting the specific hairstyle and aesthetic chosen for the role, while crediting Kabilan Chelliah for the design. Another promotional glimpse shared by Raaj Kamal Films International showcased the collaborative atmosphere on set, featuring footage of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth exchanging pleasantries, alongside clips of the director guiding the superstar through specific poses.
In “Dharman,” Rajinikanth portrays a doctor who confronts criminals. The film’s title was unveiled by Kamal Haasan with the declaration, “Dharmame vellum!” (Only Dharma will win).
