Paris Saint-Germain confirmed on Friday that head coach Luis Enrique has signed a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2030. The announcement, which arrived ahead of the team’s Ligue 1 fixture against Monaco at the Parc des Princes, was met with a warm reception from the home supporters.
The former Barcelona and Spain manager, who took charge at the start of the 2023/24 campaign, was originally hired with the primary objective of securing the club’s first European Cup. He successfully delivered on that mandate by guiding PSG to a dominant 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the 2025 Champions League final, followed by a successful title defense against Arsenal via a penalty shootout this past May.
Beyond his European success, Luis Enrique has overseen a period of domestic dominance since succeeding Christophe Galtier, securing three Ligue 1 titles and two French Cups. His previous contract was set to conclude at the end of the current season, but the new agreement ensures his leadership remains in place for the long term.
The club also utilized the occasion to announce that five players—Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, and Senny Mayulu—have also committed their futures to the club by signing contract extensions. These players, all of whom contributed to the club’s recent Champions League triumphs, joined the manager on the pitch to celebrate the news with the fans.
