Earlier on Monday, second seed Elena Rybakina moved into the quarter-finals by sweeping past two-time champion Naomi Osaka. Reflecting on the state of the sport, former world number five Daniela Hantuchova said Radio 5 Live that the women’s field is in a remarkably healthy and strong position.
